DISAPPEARING BLUES words and music – Lenny Solomon

Where did you go? You’re not the lover, I used to know
Are you still here? Did your love for me, disappear?
It’s so hard, to hold on, when I look into your eyes
I don’t see, any love for me, you’re a stranger in disguise
Where have you gone? At times like this, I can’t go on
Years filled with joy, all those years now destroyed
I feel lost, feel double-crossed, I hate these dues
I noever thought, I’d be caught, with the disappearing blues
Now, I’m alone, sometimes at night, my thoughts do roam
To when, you were by my side, you were my light, my love, never denied
Hope and pray, won’t come a day, when I wake up to find
Memories, of what used to be, have faded from my mind
Where did you go? You’re not the lover, I used to know
Where did you go? You’re not the lover, I used to know
