EXERCISE SUCKS words & music Lenny Solomon

Went to the doctor, the
doctor said man
What’s that in your belly,
did you swallow a ham
Your heart’s getting weaker, your lungs ain’t so good
You better get some exercise,
is that understood
I said doctor,
you know I ain’t no young buck
I like moving slowly, ‘cause exercise sucks
I had a buddy, longed to
loose some weight
He went on a elliptical, to work out into shape
After six months of sweating,
he lost a pound or two
But his arms and legs just
broke off, he knew not what to do
I said, buddy, I told you
not to press your luck
‘cause
there’s no doubt about it, exercise sucks
My wife got on my case, she
said in a huff
If I didn’t work out, she’d
make it very rough
If I didn’t jog, or tread on
a machine
I’d see her sweetness turn into
something pretty mean
I said baby, I would if I
could but oh shucks
You ain’t
worth the effort, ‘cause exercise sucks
Now I’m sitting pretty, I’m all
by myself
My wife done left me, and my
doctor died himself
I now can relax, and sip
myself a beer
If anyone mentions exercise,
I say “kiss my rear”
“cause
I don’t care, if I look like Friar Tuck
‘cause
everyday I pray and say, exercise sucks
.
