Spring’s again upon us,
snow’s melting high above
Water weaving cascades down to
the streams below
Waking all the fishes from
their sleepy winter dreams
They dart between the eddies
and the flows
It’s
time to get a move on, time to catch the breeze
Time
to raise your spirits to the moment
Time
to raise your head again and hear the robin’s song
Spring
has come, to take us along
Spring
has come, to take us along
Snowbells are emerging from the
frozen winter soil
Their petals are a sign of
the awakening
Sunlight getting warmer, daylight
getting long
No more thoughts of gloom or
of forsakening
It’s
time to get a move on, time to catch the breeze
Time
to raise your spirits to the moment
Time
to raise your head again and hear the robin’s song
Spring
has come, to take us along
Spring
has come, to take us along
short instrumental break
You don’t have to tell me
how hard this winter’s been
I thought of heading south
to do some traveling
At times I’d look outside my
window and see nothing there
The darkness and the lonely
nights, unraveling
(But
now) it’s time to get a move on, time to catch the breeze
Time
to raise your spirits to the moment
Time
to raise your head again and hear the robin’s song
Spring
has come, to take us along
Spring
has come, to take us along
short instrumental break
